We are currently looking for a team-oriented and enthusiastic Technical Project Manager for Bucharest, within Rompetrol Downstream.

Rompetrol Downstream coordinates the local network of fuel stations. In Romania, the company operates over 922 fuel distribution points, including its own stations, Rompetrol Partner stations, Expres mobile stations and Fill & Go Fixed Unit tanks of 9 and 20 cubic meters. More than gas stations, Rompetrol stations are designed as service centers where, in addition to selling the best quality products, customers can relax in the more than 120 Hey restaurants in the network.

Your new role:

•    Organize and manage the budget activities and the budget tracking of CAPEX allocated projects as well as the settlement and capitalization of the works according with the Rompetrol Downstream politics and procedures.
•    Coordinate support activities for contracting the services and equipment’s needed in achieving the investment project objectives in compliance with the group procurement procedure.
•    Coordinate projects with the main goal focus on optimizing existing OPEX costs in the gas stations and improving the CAPEX investments budget by selecting the most efficient ways of utilizing the involved resources.

Activities going to help you shine:
-    Coordinate the annual/biannual budget process for his Capex allocated projects within the PMO Department of the company.
-    Monitor and report the investment projects execution status, the approved commitments and the registered costs, analysis of plan/actual deviations on project;
-    Analyzes the technical solutions in the project proposed by subcontractors or in the architectural plans and improves them in order to obtain the best value for money for the final solution, for the operation period of the equipment / installations, as well as for the warranty and post-warranty maintenance period;
-    Coordinate projects related to optimization in different areas: construction/civil works / power energy consumption or technical maintenance activities (regular maintenance activities in gas stations or special activities came from different atypical projects);
-    For the existing solutions (equipment in operation in the stations) proposes revision / repair schemes/improvements in order to prolong their life;
-    Analyzes projects in search for continuous improvement;
-    Manage the Capex projects (investments proposals, define the assumptions for builing the financial models together with PPM department, highlight the importance of the projects and obtain approvals, follow and report on the budget execution stage for allocated project portfolio) and the change requests (scope, implementation or budget adjustment, etc.).
-    Verify the draft contracts are compliant with the business needs, assure the smooth running of the signed contracts and prepare the reports and notifications with the support of Legal department in case of services or equipment’s delay delivery.
-    Control the invoicing process toward the existing procurement contracts at department level, suppliers and accounting department.
-    Lead the fix assets commissioning activity from the Capex projects within the department.
-    Prepare/present reports and budget presentations of the Capex projects to management and others related departments.

The fuel needed to go further with us:
-    Bachelor’s degree: economical or technical;
-    Previous experience in oil & gas industry, engineering or civil construction;
-    Experience as Project Manager or part of the team for projects define with the clear goal of optimizing costs, materials or other resources of construction works (civil construction) or technical maintenance activities;
-    Experience in project management related financial planning, analysis, financial reporting, developing budgets - and financial models, etc;
-    Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in managing medium / complex projects;
-    Technical understanding and educational background in project management is mandatory;
-    Excellent Microsoft Projects, Excel, Power Point skills;
-    Experience in coordinating complex multifunctional project activities;
-    Advanced English level knowledge;
-    Ability to build strong trusted working relationships with internal/external business customers;
-    Positive, determined, details and customer oriented person.
